This is a male-only state prison located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The prison is a level II medium-security facility with 11 open style dormitory buildings, each with the potential 340 beds. The Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center also has a level I section, which comes with 200 beds each.

The Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center also comes with a segregation unit, which is mainly reserved for inmates found of severe violations to the prison rules and regulations. The segregation unit comes with 100 cells, each fitted with two beds.
